When you become a parent, your whole life changes. You have someone else to love and look after.

Being a parent can be a wonderful and rewarding experience, but it can also be exhausting, stressful and a bit of a mystery - babies don't come with instructions!

Parentline Plus has information and advice for all parents on all aspects of parenting.

If you under 18 and pregnant, or under 18 with a baby, and are confused about what benefits and other help you can get, please use the links opposite to get useful information or visit your local Connexions Centre. Most areas have a Personal Adviser who works specifically with young people who are pregnant or are new parents. You can ask to be referred to them or you can download the leaflet from the Relationships Resources section and send in the form.
