The Academy of music and sound in Southampton (joint working with Tauntons College) are starting a level 2 course this September and there are still places.
The course is aimed at those young people aged 16-19 with a keen interest in music who may not have achieved any GCSEs or have no practical music experience - they do not have to currently play an instrument.
Open day: Saturday 1st September 12 - 4pm at Sound Control (Queensway Southampton) interested young people should call David Dorothy 023 8082 9666 to book a free place.
Work 4 U is a new ESF and Jobcentre Plus funded initiative to help lone parents prepare for work in the following areas
