Youth Involvement
Interested in giving your opinion? This section has been designed to let you have a say.
You can get more actively involved with Connexions locally by:
- Attending local Youth Management Boards - A lively local group of young people who are passionate about making a difference in their area. Most boards meet once every month in the evening.
- Interviewing staff - Young people interview all the Connexions staff. It's important our view is heard. We get to influence who is appointed.
Speaking at conferences - Young people speak at Connexions conferences. We talk about what is important to young people.
- Mystery shopping - Young people visit our centres to test out the service. Is it good, or could it be better?
- Setting up a local Connexions Youth Board - Think that young people's voice is not being heard in your area? Contact us to find out about ways in which this can be solved.
- Working for Connexions - There are employment opportunities for young people who want to get involved in the Connexions service.
